Family Vacation to Oregon, Day 3 & 4

On Thursday, we went to Seaside again and my old roommate, Michelle, and her girls met up with us. It was so fun to see her and to go around Seaside with her and the girls.

Michelle and I are both pregnant. She is having another girl and I am having another boy. We got elephant ears with the kids after lunch and walking around. The kids loved it! It was Evan and Harrison's first ever elephant ear.

I loved watching my boy love the beach and ocean.

Jack LOVED the ocean. He frolicked in it and loved running after his tennis balls in the sand.

Building another sand castle... Harrison's favorite past-time! ;)

Evan using his new kite

This was on our drive home on Friday.

We went a different way home. We took the longest bridge on the West Coast to get home. We had a fun trip and plan to go to the beach on vacation each summer!

Family Vacation to Oregon, Day 2

On Wednesday, we woke up and went to Seaside so Evan could go surfing.

I stayed on shore with the boys who both loved playing in the sand.

Afterwards, we went to Cannon Beach to get a kite for Evan and Harrison. We went on a little walk up in the hills above Cannon Beach. Love the view up there! It was so beautiful!

Apparently, we couldn't get a decent family picture. :)

The sunset from the beach was so beautiful. This picture doesn't come close to doing it justice.

Love how you can see the moon up there.

Jack was in heaven!!!

Family Vacation to Oregon, Day 1

We went on a spontaneous road trip this week to Oregon. Evan found out that he was going to have 3 days of work off in a row and that his school was going to be minimal on Tuesday. I booked a hotel in the morning and we were gone by around 1-2pm. We decided to bring Jack with us because we didn't know who could watch him while we were gone.

This picture cracks me up... Jack climbed into Evan's lap as he was driving. We pulled over as soon as we could after this to get Jack a potty break.

My boy eating popcorn. We ate popcorn and blueberries pretty much the whole way down.

Longest bridge on the West Coast

Checking out the ocean from our hotel room. Notice the Jack photo bomb.

Walking to the beach for the first time

Harrison was in HEAVEN!

Harrison wanted to just dig and dig and dig in the sand. He loved it so much!

Picture Update: July 20th to July 26th

I took the kids geocaching this week. They loved it! Annie had never been before.

Of course Harrison chose to climb the "do not climb" statue before I could catch up with him.

Found a second cache

Got lunch at Wally's diner and played at the park behind Wally's

The girls stayed the night and loved reading with us.

I got a signed Randall box! :)

Love seeing the kids reading together!

You can't quite see it in the picture, but Harrison was SO DIRTY from playing in the yard. I swear, I can't keep this guy clean for 5 minutes!

My little boy loves vacuuming!

Reading with Daddy... he is loving this musical Sleeping Beauty book right now.

Nicole helped me fix this garden bed in preparation for Harrison's birthday party on Saturday.

Harrison got to drive a fire truck at the Street Fair after his birthday party.

Harrison found Annie's (CLEAN!) underwear and decided to wear it as a hat. ;) Can you say black mail for when he is a teen?

I was cracking up at how Jack had his legs crossed.
