Picture Update: July 21st to July 27th

Yes, that is my bed and yes, that is how Harrison SPRAWLS when I leave.

Dishes to clean up from cooking for three hours the day before for Harrison's family birthday party at my Oma's house. This does not include the counters OR the floor that was covered in toys to keep Harrison occupied when he wouldn't nap after church and I had to cook!

At the library... the grimace on his face as because a boy was touching "his" computer.

My little bookworm!

Realized this week he could actually ride his bike on the sidewalk! Still working on keeping him ONLY on the sidewalk or driveway as he wants to break the rules and ride in the road.

This Usborne coloring and sticker book TOTALLY helped me when I was trying to get some stuff done!

This is Harrison's favorite page of the Big Book of Big Machines. He LOVES tractors right now!

And he recently also started loving Curious George books. I got a few a year or so ago and he was too young to be interested. However, when I got some in the past few weeks, he has been enraptured by them!

He grabbed the bubble bath and poured some in before I could catch him. And then I turned around to clean the counter while the water filled and it got so high. He was in heaven with all of the bubbles and water!

Growing up in Washington, you don't care if it rains or shines, you go outside anyway!

And we even went on a walk to go feed the chickens in the pouring down rain!

Helping me make kale chips for the first time

Two parties worth of books came in one day... and both with a note from Usborne CEO! :)

Harrison woke up begging for a P&J for breakfast.
His daddy was nice enough to make one and bring it to him in bed!

Interesting helmet set up at his friend, Zeke's, house.

On Thursday, Darcy came with us to go see my old roommate, Tia, at her brother, Tyler's, house. We had a great time hanging out, roasting hot dogs and s'mores!

Dipping his finger in the marshmallow and having a taste.

Harrison found not only a REAL LIFE tractor to sit on at their house, but was SO obsessed with this little kid lawn mower, replete with gas can.

Roommates!

I was cleaning out a few things from our garage on Friday to take to my friend's garage sale. Harrison loved my motorcycle helmet!

And... I got a bike trailer on our way back from seeing Tia. (At 10:30pm in the middle of nowhere in Bremerton nonetheless!) Harrison loves it and I love it! We've already gone on 4-5 bike rides in two days!

Having fun at the garage sale

Got all of this from our garden on Friday! My hard work is FINALLY paying off!

Harrison and I biked over to meet up with Zandy and gang. We talked Benjamin into getting into the bike trailer with us. He got in but was a little sad when we pulled away from his mom.

Harrison got into bed with us in the night sometime and eventually crawled over to lay right next to his daddy. Even though Evan was snoring loudly, Harrison stayed asleep snuggled right up next to him. Love this!

Saturday afternoon, we went to the library and then to street fair. Harrison loved these trucks!

After leaving the street fair, we stopped a the hardware store to get more dirt as I had been planting pots and a few peppers all day. We managed to fit the bag into the bike trailer and get it home!

David met up with us at the street fair and then came to our house to hang out for a while.

Zandy, Shane, and the boys all came over to get David and ended up staying and playing for a while. The boys had fun with these dump trucks amid their fighting over the toys in the dump trucks!

Reading in the tent...

Helping me grind wheat Sunday morning to make zucchini muffins. This kid LOVES to eat plain, ol' flour!

Fell asleep on the way home from church... sadly, he did not stay asleep once I set him in his bed!

Harrison said he wanted to play outside after church and as I was packaging up muffins to take to the ladies I visit teach and dinner to Evan. I went outside and found him inside the blueberry nets saying his finger was stuck, but laughing about it. He got it out and promptly started eating blueberries again! :)

After delivering food to daddy, muffins to my visiting teaching ladies and to his nursery leader, we stopped at "Papa Devon's" and Gramma Pauline's to play. Harrison LOVES eating their raspberries and also ate his first marionberries tonight too! Not sure what he was doing with his shirt here. :)
