SO MUCH NEW THIS WEEK! I feel like he has been making so many marked changes this week!
- Rolled over for the first time (assisted)- We were coaching him on and he was laying on our bed next to the "sink hole" we refer to as Evan's sink hole because of where he sleeps. Rolling over is easier when you roll into an incline, but he did it! :)
- He has been a little rolly polly turning from side to side when we lay him down. He almost has rolled all the way over a few times, but gets kind of scared when he gets off balance so he stops himself from doing it. So cute!
- The boy found his feet this week! When I change his diaper, he loves to grab at his socks and start to pull them off. It's so adorable.
- He has become a lot more vocal this week. He already loved talking with us, but now he does LONG, drawn-out sounds. This is sometimes a precursor to crying, but instead will talk.
- He has started to notice this week when we leave the room. Just yesterday, I was changing his diaper and left to go to the bathroom really fast. As soon as I walked away, he made a quick cry out as if to say, "HEY! I'm still here. Where do you think you're going?!" That little sweetie guy!
- Both Evan and I noticed this week that his face has changed to be looking older. I can't believe my little sweetie is already 19 weeks old! How did the time go by so fast?! They really don't stay little very long.
- Harrison had kind of a fussy week this week. Last Sunday night, he woke up in the night and had several wake ups this week as well! So frustrating and exhausting for everyone! Added to that, he got his shots on Tuesday at his 4 month check-up. He screamed when he got the shots and it broke my heart. The poor guy!
- Speaking of- I failed mention his stats. He is now 26 3/4 inches long (95th percentile) and 15 lbs. 10 oz (75th percentile). He has maintained his height/weight ratio over the past few months, which is awesome! I hope he stays tall just like his dad (and not like me)!
- Lastly- he had his first Thanksgiving this Thursday! We went over to my brother-in-law's, sister's in-laws. Yeah, sounds crazy... like celebrate Thanksgiving with your obscure relatives, but it was fun!
Love his little hand peeking out of the nursing cover
Sitting on the couch like a big boy!
Hanging out at my sister's house
Loves grabbing and gnawing on his Schnuli
Grabbing his rings in his bouncy seat
LIGHTS!
Love how he keeps a foot just chillin' in the air!
Family self-portrait... you can see the car we set the camera on in the right-hand corner :)
Love this picture and his funny look as his daddy helps him sit up on the counter. He was so proud of himself!
