Along with the rest of the greater Seattle area, Evan and I hiked to the top of Mt. Si yesterday. Mt. Si is a popular mountain in these here parts that has a height of over 4,000 feet. It's a 4-mile (one-way) hike not including the Class 4 Scramble to get to the haystack at the very top. Many people do not complete the scramble to get to the top because of how steep it is and the fact that you are scrambling up a cliff face. A few people have actually died falling off of said cliff face (mostly because of stupidity and the fact that they were inebriated).
Naturally, Evan and I scrambled up to the top which boasts a wonderful view of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area. I'm grateful for God's creations which are both humbling and energizing.

Oh, that looks like a lot of fun. I really miss hiking. It's pretty flat here and any hikes are a ways away. Plus having a baby, doesn't make it easy. I'm glad you had fun!

Hey Sarah, looks like fun. There are a few places around here that Nathan and I have been wanting to hike, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.
But about the $1 accessories I bought. In LA there is the Fashion District, where a lot of vendors sell jewelry, shoes, sunglasses, fabric etc. for really cheap whole sell prices. It is great!!!
That's my kind of couple. We LOVE hiking. The pictures remind me of our favorite hike - Saddle Mt. near Seaside, OR. Although, I think this one is higher and sounds a bit more dangerous. That would be a welcomed challenge for us.
So jealous! one day we'll have to do that hike with you guys. I still haven't ever done it.
