I won... Twice!

I'm sure we all see blogs giving away fabulous gifts and may secretly comment, HOPING we are the winners of said gifts. Of all the times that I've admittedly commented, I never really thought I was going to win something. More just curious.

Well, I am proud to say that I've won not ONE, but TWO different giveaways in the past month or so! The first is a from a blog I really enjoy reading. She is so down-to-earth and has great stories and ideas. I found her blog a few years back as I was finding tutorials for handmade kids' alphabet gifts. I started perusing around and eventually added it to my Google Reader feed (which is saying something, I'm picky about what I put on Google Reader). Her blog WAS entitled "Notes from a Very Red Kitchen." It now is more simply called The Red Kitchen. Check out her etsy stuff too. These are the hand-made buttons I won from her etsy shop! Check out her adorable hand-made thank you card too. Melts my heart.

The next prize I won was from a blog I started following sometime last year when her blog was referenced through a blog I read religiously. (Did that make any sense?) Well, anyway... she's creative and artistic, quirky and random... all the things I like in people! Her blog is called "Hue and Hum" (She's the HUE because she's a painter and her husband is the HUM because he is a musician. In fact, his band, Fictionist, just got signed with some record label or other.)

I haven't received the grand prize yet (but it's at my sister's house waiting for me to open it)! One of her sponsor's is another adorable blog called One Little Minute. I won this pregnancy T-shirt valued at $45. Awesome, right? You check off the weeks until you have the baby and take pictures with the shirt each week. (She even turned it into a baby jumper at the end.) LOVE IT and am so excited to finally get a picture of my (now) MINI pregnant belly.
