Ice Climbing

It's funny how little Evan cares about my blog or reading it, but he always asks me if I post about his stuff on here too. I guess he wants to be included too!

Last Saturday, I stayed home and slept, designed our Christmas postcards, went grocery shopping, and pretty much did a lot of unimportant tasks. While I was doing said tasks, Evan was ice climbing! Evan is hilarious when the weather starts to turn cold. He religiously checks the weather daily. He starts perusing Cascade Climbers frequently as well to see what ice is popping up all over the state.

Well, last week... he even took it one step further! He had the day off on Wednesday and scouted out some ice climbing in the area. He took pictures, he posted them to Cascade Climbers (what I jokingly refer to as his blog) and shared the details of the climbing area. THEN... he proceeded to climb at the climbing area with a couple of the TOP ice climbers in the state. He was pretty proud that they all came there because he had taken the initiative to scout out the area and post the information.

Needless to say, he had a blast! At least someone around this house is having a Saturday adventure, because it sure wasn't me! (Not that I'm bitter or anything.) Here are pictures of the climbing area Evan took.
